About

The company behind the control plane

Commercial Payment Network Inc. (CPN) is payment governance infrastructure: a regulated Canadian payments company operating the control plane for commercial payments.

Mission

Our mission is to give companies the same control over their money that they have over their information.

Organizations govern their information with rules they define and infrastructure that enforces them. Money deserves the same architecture.

The vision

Four positions carry it. Open each one.

01A world where money moves under the sender's rules.

Where treasury intent is translated into governed, executable transactions before anything moves, and where the rail a payment takes is a routing decision, not a relationship constraint.

02CPN sits ahead of your payment rails.

That placement is the whole design. Bank relationships, accounts, and settlement stay exactly where they are, while translation, control, and visibility move to a plane the client governs.

03You own the payment intent.

The rails own settlement execution. CPN owns translation, control, and visibility between the two.

04The market has been solving for speed. The real problem is control.

The vision is not faster payments; it is payments that answer to the organization carrying the accountability for them.

Built as a regulated operator from day one

CPN did not add compliance to a product; it built the product inside the regulatory perimeter. Payment governance infrastructure only works if the operator itself is governed, examined, and accountable, so CPN operates as a regulated payments company by design, not by obligation.

The same posture runs through the architecture:

  • Zero-trust design
  • Evidence written at the moment of decision
  • An audit ledger that is hash-chained and tamper-evident
  • Dual-site resilience
  • 24/7 monitoring

What regulators require of CPN and what clients need from CPN turn out to be the same thing: provable control.

The path is the strategy

One line describes the client journey, the product architecture, and the company strategy: traditional banking to digital assets to private networks.

01Traditional banking

Certified SWIFT connectivity, one connection to all your banks at once, and the Control Fabric governing every payment. Governance is delivered from the first day, on the rails organizations already use.

02Digital assets

Regulated digital corridors: the RLUSD on-ramp and off-ramp in Canada, where you never touch the token, and cross-border payouts at as low as 0 FX and 0 fees.

03Private networks

Closed networks of verified members transacting on-us: payments addressed by CPN ID, rich data travelling with every transfer, instant settlement, and CPN takes no spread inside the network.

Each stage compounds the one before it. Clients enter for governance, stay for the economics, and grow into network power.

Corridor pricing varies by corridor, currency pair, and volume. As low as 0 FX and 0 fees reflects CPN's floor pricing on eligible digital corridors, confirmed per corridor at onboarding.
